Dairy Ingredients
If you don't have 1 cup whipping cream, whipped, substitute 2 cups whipped dessert topping.
If you don't have 1 cup buttermilk, substitute 1 Tbs. lemon juice or vinegar plus enough whole milk to make 1 cup (let stand 5 minutes before using), or 1 cup whole milk plus 1 3/4 tsp cream of tartar, or 1 cup plain yogurt.
If you don't have 1 cup whole milk, substitute 1/2 cup evaporated milk plus 1/2 cup water, or 1 cup water plus 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder.
If you don't have 1 cup light cream, substitute 1 Tbs. melted butter plus enough milk to make 1 cup.
