Lynne's Sausage And Potato Soup

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lb. Italian sausage, or about 4 links
1/2 cup finely chopped ham
2 cloves garlic or 2 tsp. minced garlic
4 cans chicken broth
2 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. parsly flakes
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
5 cups new potatoes, cut to bite size
1 cup green onions
1/2 cup of milk
1/4 cup butter or margarine
Salt and pepper to taste

Prep. time: 40 minutes
Yield: 6 servings

Remove the sausage from its casing. Add it and the chopped ham to a large soup pan, and cook until the sausage is browned. Add the garlic, broth, thyme, parsely, Italian seasoning, potatoes, and half of the green onion. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add the milk, remaining green onion, and the butter or margarine.
