Braised Pork

Ingredients:

4 lb. boneless pork loin or butt
3/4 cup white vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 tsp. fresh ginger, minced

Prep. time: 10 minutes
Simmer time: 3 hours
Yield: 4 to 6 servings

Place pork in a dutch oven.

In a bowl, mix together vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and ginger; pour over pork. Over medium-high heat, bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer approximately 3 hours or until pork is tender when pierced with a fork.
