Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
1/4 cup water

Prep time: 30 minutes
Yield: 8 servings
Preheat oven to 450º.
Sift flour and salt into pie plate. Boil shortening and water. Add hot mixture to flour; mix with fork until moist. Pat into plate with hands.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
