Doggie Oats

Ingredients:

8 cups raw rolled oats or 16 cups cooked oatmeal
2 lb. ground turkey (can use ground chicken or lean ground beef, if desired)
1/2 cup Healthy Powder
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 cup cooked vegetables
3 Tbs. bonemeal, or 5,400-6000 mg. calcium, or 1 Tbs. eggshell powder
10,000 IU vitamin A (optional if using cooked carrots)
400 IU vitamin E
1 tsp. tamari soy sauce or 1/4 tsp. iodized salt
1 or 2 cloves garlic, crushed
15 mg. iron

Prep time: 45 minutes
Yield: 6 servings

Bring 15 cups water to a boil. Add oats and turn off the heat. Let sit 20 to 25 minutes or until soft. Don't stir while cooking or oats will get mushy.

Brown ground turkey in a large skillet. Drain fat. Add turkey to oatmeal. Add remaining ingredients and stir well. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
