Comments
This recipe is particularly high in protein compared with the other feline diets. It is especially useful for conditions that require the growth of new tissue but not necessarily the consumption of a lot of energy (calories). That makes it well-suited for a cat recovering from malnourishment or injuries as well as for pregnant cats and for kittens and mothers approaching weaning time. This nutritious fare provides 45.3 percent protein, 17.8 percent fat and a calcium to phosphorus ratio of 1.2:1. Calorie density: 4.6 Kcal./kg. dry weight.
