Mint Chocolate Chip Merengues

Ingredients:

3 egg whites
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. mint extract
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
6 oz. miniature chocolate chips

Prep time: 1 hour
Yield: 2 dozen

Preheat oven to 275º.

Beat egg whites, cream of tartar, and extracts until stiff. Slowly add sugar. Beat well. Add chocolate chips. Drop teaspoonfuls on baking sheet. Bake at 275º for 30 minutes.
