Mexico Nuts

Ingredients:

3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 Tbs. cornstarch
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground red pepper
1/4 tsp. ground allspice
1 egg white
2 Tbs. cold water
1 cup pecan halves
Vegetable cooking spray

Prep time: 2 hours
Yield: 3 servings

Preheat oven to 250º.

Combine first 7 ingredients. Whisk egg white lightly; add 2 Tbs. water, whisking mixture until blended.

Dip pecan halves into egg white mixture. Drain well with a slotted spoon. Dredge in sugar mixture. Place nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray.

Bake at 250º for 1 1/2 hours.
