Emily's Easy Cheese Straws

Ingredients:

1 package pie crust mix
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded or grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Ground red pepper (as much as you like)
Powdered sugar

Prep. time: 30 minutes
Yield: 2 dozen straws


Process first 3 ingredients in a food processor until a dough is formed.

Place the dough in a cookie press fitted with a star plate. Press "straws" onto an ungreased baking sheet.

Bake at 375 degrees for 8 minutes.

Remove from oven, and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container.
